THE ROLE

We are seeking to appoint a new Senior Lecturer in Computer Science with a particular interest in AI-driven Data Centre Sustainability. Data centres are a growing contributor of Green House Gas (GHG) emissions and are enormous energy consumers. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is playing an increasingly important role in making data centres more sustainable and reducing carbon footprint. The development of AI technologies can significantly reduce energy consumption, lower operational costs, and contribute to a more sustainable future for next-generation data centres.
