Exceptional opportunity to join a well-established, high performing Legal and Secretarial team, playing a pivotal role in the decarbonisation of the nation. A leader in green energy infrastructure and innovative investment products, solar power, bioenergy and wind assets, to create long-term energy assets and drive lower emissions.
With billions of dollars in funding, this role would suit a Senior Legal Counsel/ Senior Lawyer with a background in investment banking, private equity & investments, banking and finance, to join this well funded, top Australian specialist investor organisation devoted to net zero and low emissions investments.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating finance documents, commercial contracts and other complex legal agreements
- Project manage and lead significant transactions including engagement with external legal counsel
- Providing support to investment team members on specific projects in negotiating the terms oftransactions
- Ensure global compliance with legal, risk and compliance frameworks across the group
- Providing ongoing compliance, reporting and contract management of specific energy efficiency projects
- Legal oversight and advice to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time sensitive manner.
