Senior Legal Counsel - Manufacturing

About our Client
Our client is an European multinational, a market leader in the manufacturing industry in the segment they operate in. They are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to be based in Singapore as part of the regional legal team.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will play a key role, partnering closely with the senior management team. You will be responsible for providing legal advice to steer the development and growth of the business with a focus on complex and high value manufacturing and procurement contracts in line with the strategy while minimising risk to the organisation and ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements with the Group’s policies and local regulatory requirements. You will also participate in global and regional projects as they arise.
Requirements
You are a qualified lawyer with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience ideally with experience gained within the manufacturing or related industries. Prior experience in handling complex and high value manufacturing and procurement contracts within a global organisation is essential. A commercial-minded and hands on individual, you have a keen understanding of legal and regulatory requirements in the Asia Pacific region. You are commercial-minded and have a proven track record of influencing and partnering with senior global stakeholders.
