What you’ll do:
- Provide strategic and technically sound legal advice to enable WaterNSW to assess legal risks and make sound decisions on major project matters.
- Partner with RESP (Renewable Energy & Storage Program) internal stakeholders through the provision of advice and support in relation to legal and commercial issues, including advice on WaterNSW’s statutory obligations as a land manager.
- Undertake property due diligence and provide solutions for any issues raised to achieve major project objectives while balancing WNSW ongoing operational requirements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial property contracts for WaterNSW, including leases, licences, easements and associated agreements relating to freehold, leased and/or licensed land to enable the achievement of major project objectives.
- Triage, manage, and prioritise volume of work arising from the RESP (Renewable Energy & Storage Program) projects and assist the Property team to manage the workflow.
