Senior Legal Operations Specialist

Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Operations Specialist to lead the implementation and optimization of legal software and technology within a global organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of legal operations, combined with proven expertise in successfully deploying and managing legal software solutions.

Implement and manage legal software and technology solutions to streamline legal operations processes, including but not limited to matter management, e-billing, contract management, document management, and compliance tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, IT, Finance, and other relevant departments, to understand business requirements and tailor technology solutions to meet those needs.
Lead the evaluation, selection, and negotiation of contracts with legal technology vendors, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and budgetary constraints.
Provide expert guidance and support to internal stakeholders on best practices for utilizing legal software and technology tools effectively.
Develop and deliver training programs to educate end-users on the features and functionalities of legal software applications, driving user adoption and maximizing ROI.
Continuously monitor and assess the performance of legal software systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements as needed.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and developments in legal technology, evaluating their potential impact on the organization and recommending strategic initiatives accordingly.
Serve as a subject matter expert on legal operations best practices, contributing insights and recommendations to inform decision-making at the executive level.
Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling client matters, and adhering to strict deadlines
Previous experience with legal project management skills- sourcing through implementation
Contract management a plus
Excellent communication skills and ability to work across various business units
e-Billing experience preferred
