What will you do?
This role sits within the Transmission and Distribution practice of our Energy Team. Based in Sydney you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and passion as you work in a diverse team on fast paced challenging projects.
We welcome applications from candidates that are passionate about technical excellence and keen to make a difference. Please note previous lines design or consultancy experience at voltages of 132kV or higher is a must.

Your role will include:

  • Formulating plans and specifications for the construction of transmission line projects
  • Engaging in the technical design of new transmission lines, particularly those exceeding 330kV
  • Undertaking feasibility studies and conducting modeling and analysis

As well as experience in a similar role. Specifically;

  • Relevant degree qualification with proven transmission line design experience
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, as well as knowledge of electrical transmission technologies, and relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Detailed technical design experience and proven project delivery of energy projects
  • Experience with PLS-CADD or TOWER and other relevant software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and MATLAB
  • Understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements, including the Australian Electrical Safety Regulations
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in the industry, such as smart grid technology and energy storage systems
