Senior Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Senior Litigation Paralegal to help support our law firm client. This individual will play a crucial role in assisting one attorney with conducting legal research, compiling case documents, drafting legal documents, maintaining case files, and coordinating the activities related to litigation processes. This is a short-term contract, hybrid role in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area.

1. Assist attorney with preparation for trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
2. Conduct legal research, writing, and analysis.
3. Manage cases by preparing case summaries, brochures for mediations, finding legal precedents, etc.
4. Assist with discovery and trial preparation tasks including deposition digesting, document review and production.
5. Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda.
6. Inspect, examine, and appraise legal documents for the purpose of analyzing details and implications.
7. File legal documents with local, state, and/or federal courts.
8. Identify, compile and manage all critical case documents.
9. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with attorneys, clients, experts, consultants, staff, and others.
10. Stay updated with the latest legal developments, relevant law changes, and unique legal practices.
    Strong legal research and writing skills are a must.
    A degree in legal studies, law, or related field. Paralegal certification is preferred.
    Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
    Comprehensive knowledge of laws, legal procedures, and protocols.
    Skilled in conducting sound and thorough research.
    Proficient with legal case management software and software applications like MS Office.
    Ability to maintain confidentiality, multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
    Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
