Description:

EDUCATION

Bachelors’ degree (or higher) in Business or Public Administration, Logistics, or a related field from an accredited academic institution, with at least four years of relevant professional experience, preferably in similar roles; or,
Completed High School degree from an accredited academic institution, with at least six years of relevant working experience, preferably in similar roles.

EXPERIENCE

Experience in a similar role with leading functions;
Knowledge of administrative procedures of a national and/or international non-governmental organization is an advantage;
Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.

SKILLS

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with persons of diverse cultural and national backgrounds
Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail;
High level of computer literacy in standard MS products with specific proficiency in MS Excel is required.

Responsibilities:

Supervises and administers subordinated staff members; plans and approves absence of staff, monitors and evaluates the staff/team performance, provides guidance to the staff members; administers financial resources of the team, coordinates resource deployment.
Oversee Monitor and coordinate the planning and implementation of logistical operations, transportation, and distribution of goods and supplies.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services in accordance with organizational requirements.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and transactions using appropriate logistics management systems.
Coordinate the preparation of logistics-related documentation, including shipping documents, and customs clearance forms.
Coordinate fleet management tasks as required ensuring transportation and maintenance schedules are managed effectively.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of service providers to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
Contribute to the development and implementation of logistics policies, procedures, and guidelines to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Participate and assist to coordinate training sessions and capacity-building activities to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff in logistics management.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the CoM and/or the immediate supervisor.
