Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Receiver Exciter and Back End Processing (REBEP) Department has the opportunity to join their team as a Senior Logistics & Engineering Support Specialist. REBEP is the focal point for receiver, exciter, beam steering, and signal processing technology in the Raytheon business. The department is responsible for the design, development, integration, support to production builds, and lifecycle support for Raytheon.
This position will be 100% on-site & will be based in Marlborough, MA.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Support engineering teams with logistics of moving engineering material between facilities and to/from suppliers.
  • Submit engineering material purchase requests in SAP.
  • Create kits for CCA assembly.
  • Communicate with suppliers for quotes and provide International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) controlled documentation.
  • Assisting engineers with equipment needs for test setup and testing/analysis for engineering hardware.
  • Assisting Lab Manager with lab organization, compliance, security, safety and ISO 9001 audits.
  • Manage procurement and building of proof of design Circuit Card Assemblies / Modules.
  • Assist with Transition to Production.
  • Provide pricing estimates for budgetary requests.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of prior work experience OR in absence of a degree, 9 years of prior work experience.
  • Experience working with vendors and/or suppliers.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP.
  • Experience with electrical components.
  • Familiarity with Raytheon procurement process.
  • Technical skills to engage with Circuit Card design engineers and vendors.
  • Experience with configuration management principles and/or Bill of Material (BOM).
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is a PLUS.
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance is a PLUS.
