Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
At Fora, we are reimagining the future of online communities and are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to help us do just that. As Senior ML Engineer, you will collaborate with other Engineers, Data Analyst, Product Managers on the shared objective of helping users share and discover valuable knowledge about their hobbies, interests, and pastimes. Our team strikes a healthy balance between rapid experimentation to test new user experiences and well-architected, robust, scalable pipeline development to continuously analyze large volumes of data. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Train, tune, deploy, and maintain production models and algorithms to analyze millions of forum discussions using a variety of modeling techniques.
- Work with large-scale, high-volume heterogeneous data using distributed systems.
- Design, build, and deploy batch and streaming data pipelines.
- Design and maintain robust data models, data storage, retrieval, caching, and optimization techniques.
- Transform requirements into engineering designs and eventually scalable solutions.
- Work and communicate asynchronously with distributed teams.
- Other related responsibilities and ad hoc projects as negotiated and needed to meet the ongoing needs of the company
