WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Machine Learning Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality of our client’s innovative AI decisioning technologies. You will be responsible for developing and implementing automated testing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying abreast of new testing tools and strategies. Your commitment to quality assurance will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality machine learning solutions.

• Work as the sole Quality Assurance engineer in a dedicated Machine Learning squad
• Ensure the quality of machine learning algorithms through rigorous testing - both manual and automated
• Develop and implement automated testing strategies for machine learning systems - our client is language agnostic when it comes to your automation scripting!
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs within the system
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies, as well as emerging developments in ML

The ideal candidate for the Machine Learning Quality Assurance Engineer role brings a wealth of experience in test automation, end-to-end testing, and a strong understanding of ML, what it is, and how it works. With excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, you are adept at identifying issues before they become problems. Your strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes enables you to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases. Most importantly, you have full rights to work in Australia.

• Proven senior-level experience in test automation
• Strong experience in end-to-end testing
• Prior experience working on machine learning projects (non-negotiable, can be commercial or academic)
• Full rights to work in Australia (sorry, we can’t sponsor for this one!)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test case
