Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Material acceptance and product preparation.
  • Checking input and output for identity and quality.
  • Process change-over, preparation and set-up.
  • Coordinate all line activities, technical and quality problems.
  • Assist engineers during maintenance activities.
  • Cleaning activities.
  • Participate in SGA/projects.
  • Follow standard operating procedures.

ROLE

  • Apply specialized functional area skills and knowledge and underlying technical principles
  • Provide guidance and technical advice to others
  • Develop technical solutions to complex problems which may impact multiple work areas or departments
  • Apply creativity to solving technical problems
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment to resolve problems
  • Recommend and assist in the implementation of changes to policies/procedures as appropriate
  • May develop new techniques and procedures leading to greater effectiveness and/or efficiency
  • Establish own priorities within general guidelines
  • May act in a team lead capacity including delegating work to others
  • May provide on-the-job training and technical guidance to other team members
  • Provide customer service to internal and external clients
  • Exchange detailed technical information with customers to solve problems and/or provide ongoing support
  • May contribute to the department/unit by ensuring the accuracy of others’ work and recommending quality guidelines
