Description:

The Financial Management Department is responsible for delivering an effective financial management service within the Trust, providing strategic advice on business developments, annual planning and budget management.
This Senior Management Accountant role provides financial advice and management accounting support to the Pharmacy directorate managing a small team and supporting the Finance Manager for this clinical supporting directorate.
This is an excellent role for an ambitious individual who likes challenges, is self-motivated and wants to use their financial skills to add value and understand how financial resources can be used to support service improvement.
The role is operated on a hybrid basic with both home and office based working.
To be the primary financial support for the Outsourced Outpatient Dispensary contract in the Pharmacy Directorate
To work closely with the Pharmacy Directorate on any plans to renew or extend the coverage of the contract, ensuring all financial consequences are robustly understood and managed.
To be the primary finance lead working with the Pharmacy Directorate to implement national efficiency recommendations which relate to Pharmacy.
To provide financial advice and support to the Pharmacy Directorate in line with the delegation arrangements issued by the Chief Executive.
To provide support to Senior Finance staff in the preparation of the annual Financial Plan for the Pharmacy Directorate and for assisting in the monitoring, correcting and formally reporting on the financial performance of the Directorate.
