ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Management Accountant has responsibility for the oversight and delivery of financial management services to the SeaLink Whitsundays business including the following products/brands:

• SeaLink Whitsundays products (including contracted revenue streams); and
• Red Cat Adventures and Whitsunday Jet Ski Tour products.

This role will have responsibility for providing expert financial advice, with a focus on budgeting, business management and the monitoring/reporting of financial results.
Whilst the position is located in the Whitsundays, consideration may be given to applicants to work from our Brisbane or Adelaide offices.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Experience contributing to the planning and execution of organisational strategy and decision-making
• Strong experience in delivering financial management support and services in a commercial environment (preferable travel/retail)
• Strong understanding of associated legislation, regulatory and compliance requirements
• Strong capability in stakeholder management across all levels of the organisation
• A high level of self-motivation with the ability to work autonomously
• Commercially astute
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting and decision-making skills
• Good time management skills and ability to effectively multi-task
• Excellent organisational and strong project management skill
