Description:
DESCRIPTION
The Senior Management Analyst contributes to the planning, implementation, and management of complex programs focused on public safety. This position is integral to enhancing the safety and security of Denton County residents and visitors through effective analysis and planning of fire protection, emergency medical services, and emergency services districts. The Senior Management Analyst will be responsible for executing projects involving in-depth research, analysis, report preparation, and recommendation justification for complex county-wide Public Safety initiatives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma required for this position and a minimum of five years of experience in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Possession of a valid driver’s license required. Must obtain a valid Texas driver’s license within 90 days of employment.
Must not have any Class B misdemeanor or higher convictions or deferred adjudications.
Responsibilities:
Support in the planning, implementation, and management of multifaceted programs related to public safety, ensuring alignment with the overall Denton County goals and objectives.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including fire protection agencies, emergency medical services providers, and emergency services districts, to ensure seamless coordination and integration of services.
Prepare detailed and accurate reports summarizing findings, alternatives, and recommendations for presentation to key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of complex information.
Analyze data related to emergency services, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of policies and procedures governing emergency services, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Coordinates new and innovative programs and services that emphasize creative problem solving and solicit department participation.
Coordinates multi-functional, cross-departmental teams that may consist of employees from all levels of the organization.
Coordinates the development and implementation of policies and plans related to public safety and operations.
Coordinates large, county-wide initiatives.
Analyzes and evaluates existing systems, policies, procedures, processes, and practices for efficiency and effectiveness.
Attends Commissioners Court regarding matters pertaining to emergency services.
Attends and represents the County at Emergency Services District board meetings.
Regular and punctual attendance is required.
Performs other related duties as required.
