JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Business administration, Marketing or related disciplines with work experience in the field of Event Management.
  • Minimum 8-10 years demonstrable experience managing partnerships with brands and partners. Possess experience in conceptualizing a broad range of events in the special events and MICE sector.
  • Experience in successfully managing complex events and multi- million dollar budgets.
  • Strong networking skill and proven record in growing scale partnership account
  • Highly adaptable to changing B2B events trends and key players and contacts
  • Strong research and analytical skills. Able to independently propose and conduct market analysis
  • Strong negotiation skills, interpersonal skills and comfortable with client facing role.
  • Able to manage tight deadlines with strong project management skills in a fast pace environment.
  • An added experience working in MICE venues, tradeshows and/ or B2B events such as conferences, summits, masterclasses would be a bonus.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to finesse and deliver partnership strategy and approach, which entails identifying and pitching to marquee or leading consumer brand partners in the travel, lifestyle, and technology sectors, to build seasonal events or travelling exhibitions.
  • Lead and manage all phases of event development, including creative planning, development, budget, management, production, execution and post- event evaluation/ recap.
  • Ability to conceptualize, plan and execute events/ projects in the special events and MICE sectors.
  • Develop and recommend partners business models to ensure it meets organizational objectives.
  • Develop unique partnership cases to attract world class business event partners to Mandai.
  • Serve as main communications point and coordinate with cross-functional teams, clients, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless and effective collaboration throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain effective external relationships with vendors and other essential partners.
  • Develop comprehensive business events strategy that encompasses commercial goals, target audiences and sustainability messaging.
  • Lead creative sessions to develop new event concepts and options.
  • Understand consumer insights research and gather information needed to make informed decisions throughout all phases and recommend future improvements.
  • Monitor event success metrics, gather attendee feedback, and conduct post-event analysis to assess campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish constructive relationships with external stakeholders such as government agencies, event companies and other potential clients.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, emerging technologies and leverage that knowledge to innovate events.
