About this team
The integration team is responsible for facilitating the seamless merging of business and functional teams, ensuring the collective success of our newly expanded entity. The ideal candidate will be a beacon of support, fostering collaboration and steering the integration process with agility and a strategic mindset. This team will create and execute strategies that align with the global direction while also supporting the needs of the local market.
The role reports into the Integration Director, who is responsible for facilitating the seamless merging of business and functional teams, ensuring the collective success of our newly expanded entity. This role will also have a dotted line into the Leader of Mexico. The role will work closely with the Finance function, that is currently supported by a Shared Services Company. The role is responsible for managing the transition to a standalone Finance function and the cutover to global enterprise timelines, processes, and systems. This role will also be responsible for helping to set up our Business Operations, planning and governance to dock into our global operating model and ensure we set up Mexico for success.

Responsibilities

  • Support the transition and integration of the Mexico market into an owned business model

Responsible for standing up business governance and supporting strategic financial planning, the Annual Operating Plan, budgeting, and labour forecasting

Responsible for the progress and performance of transition related activities: cross-functional process shift and development

Responsible for developing our daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly financial, management and operational reporting, including Sales, Margins and Inventory, as well as the development of frameworks, meeting cadence and tracking measures. Liaison with leadership and global Finance to understand requirements for the above

Develop and implement the plan to exit the transitionary phase. This includes supporting the cutover of current to enterprise Finance and FP&A processes, systems and timelines; the move from the current fiscal year to the global calendar; and the establishment of the functional governance

Work with the Finance technology team to ensure that the roadmap for financial systems integration is thoroughly planned and implemented

  • Support in setting up Business operations calendar and activities

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 10-+ years in a finance role, preferably in retail or consumer-related environment
  • 5+ years in both a Finance Management and Project Management role, preferably with exposure to mergers and acquisitions, corporate integrations, or similar complex projects
  • Strong analytical and data organizational skills
  • Requires a solid foundation in project management principles and practices
  • Deep financial literacy and understanding of business processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the Leadership team
  • Skilled at change management with experience in leading change through large scale initiatives across people, process, technology
  • Proven track record in building relationships, establishing rapport, credibility and trust
  • Excellent working knowledge of SAP and MS office. Experience of using Oracle RWS and Oracle EBS required
  • Fluent in Spanish, advanced knowledge of English both written and spoken is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, MBA) preferred
