POSITION SUMMARY
As the Senior Manager, Business Program Management (PM), you are responsible for providing program/project oversight, day-to-day management, leadership, direction, and administration for projects impacting Caremark Member Operations. You will be responsible for effectively managing team/stakeholder expectations and engagement through clear communication of roles and responsibilities and regular status updates. You may oversee the work of other Project Managers and be responsible for providing timely, written feedback on project and performance reviews.
Your duties will include:
- Overall Project Leadership - Lead (from a business perspective) Caremark Member Operations (CMO) and cross organizational projects with the goal of supporting Care’s mission of improving the member or Care agent’s experience. Responsibilities include leading business only (non-IT projects) as well as managing the business deliverables within IT projects to ensure successful delivery of project/program requirements that meet business expectations. A key component of the role will be partnering with the Care System and Process Support Team to partner around any Change Management efforts needed to implement the change.
- Project Documentation and Tracking – Develop, manage, and monitor detailed project plans to ensure that all project deliverables are delivered on time, within scope and budget and in full compliance of CVS Health requirements.
- Resource Engagement and Management – Engage Care business leaders, the Care Business Technical team and other Care resources, as necessary, to ensure the Care business needs are clearly identified, articulated, and translated into final project deliverables. This includes engaging the appropriate care resources needed to define and approve the project scope, requirements, and acceptance of the new functionality or change, prior to go the projects’ go live.
- Issue Management – Ensure all issues and risks are managed proactively, engaging required parties, and escalating as needed, to drive to a resolution – so that project deliverables remain on track.
- Communications Management - Manage and execute all stakeholder communication
To be a candidate for this role you will possess the following:
- Strong Microsoft O365 (including MS Project) skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
This position can be office based, hybrid or work from home. Candidates can live anywhere in the US.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years successful Program/Project Management of medium to large scale programs and projects
- Experience working with multiple teams, delegating work, and ensuring team efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management certification
- Health care, insurance, or pharmacy experience is a plus
- Deep understanding of project and software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum etc.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Equivalent work experience may be considered
