As part of Renew Danone, AMEA is a growth driver. Overall this zone spread across Asia, Middle East, Africa and CIS countries has more than 100 countries with 90+ own and 3rd party manufacturing locations. We are seeing significant growth in this region both for our existing categories as well as in new white spaces in terms of geographic and portfolio foot-print. To support this, there are significant investments happening in our own factories as well as new partnerships and investments from a Co-man (3rd party manufacturing) perspective. This role is responsible from a procurement perspective for all the spends in the region from a manufacturing and co-man perspective.
As a member of the zone procurement team in charge of procurement for co-man and manufacturing, your responsibilities include:
- Develop and Implement a co-man strategy for the region in line with the global framework and meeting the needs of the region.
- Support the Business Growth and Capacity Expansion by identifying and qualifying new production capacity through co-manufacturing in the AMEA region and enable business growth by strategically leveraging co-manufacturing opportunities.
- Optimize costs and cash flow efficiency by coordinating regional and global actions to enhance efficiency in procurement processes.
- Support Relationship Management (SRM) by leading/ supporting the negotiations and contracting decisions and monitoring the supplier’s performance (financial viability, contract terms, SEDEX compliance, and quality standards)
- Project Management of strategic new Co-man projects in the region
- Danone Impact Journey Ensuring the understanding and delivery of and address any issues promptly as well as aligning their practices with Danone’s sustainability and impact goals for our network of Co-mans.
- Develop a Market Intelligence to identify available co-man capacities meeting relevant business needs to support new products/ localization of production
- Collaborate closely with others functions to ensure seamless integration end to end of co-manufacturers into the overall supply chain.
As a member of the zone procurement team in charge of Manufacturing procurement your responsibilities include:
- Develop and Implement a Capex and Spares sourcing strategy for the region in line with the global framework and meeting the needs of the region.
- Collect needs for categories from each Bu by collaborating with local buyers and operations.
- Lead/Support the Negotiations and contracting with the Engineering and Global Capex teams
- Optimize costs and cash flow efficiency by coordinating regional and global actions to enhance efficiency in procurement processes.
- Support the qualification process and ensure decision making alignment.
- Identify opportunities for implementation of new suppliers from various geographical locations
- Implement sub-regional strategy of outsourcing spare part management and global maintenance ones
- Provide continuous impactful communication to stakeholders, reaching beyond procurement to fully encompass cross-functional stakeholders, driving execution of strategies.

- Good knowledge of procurement with professional experience (>7 years) in strategic procurement, an international working environment.
- Prior experience in Co-man and/or Capex procurement is preferred.

- Someone who is oriented to deliver value, in love with FMCG & healthcare nutrition.
