Senior Manager, Chief of Staff -Workforce Planning Lead
The Workforce Planning Lead will manage strategic priorities and key project execution in the newly formed Mexico City Tech Hub, supporting the VP CoS and the Mexico Site Leadership Team (Country Manager, Tech and Product Leads, Head of Risk, Head of Finance, Head of HR, Head of Security, and Compliance Advisor). They will play a critical role in the strategic management of business operations across a new and growing Mexico City Tech Hub organization, managing communications, influencing, and developing relationships across horizontal business and partner leaders and organizations, including Risk, HR, Finance, ESM, GWS, as well as other key stakeholders both inside and outside of Capital One. The COS team will be responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining operational and strategic rigor across all cross-functional areas of the new Mexico City Tech Hub, as well as the organizational COS function.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Intermediate-Advanced English fluency
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 2 years of client facing or consulting experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in Change Management or Continual Improvement

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience offering advising or consulting services to executive level clients
  • 2+ years of experience working in a corporate function (Risk, Finance, Audit or Legal)
  • 2+ years of experience with diversity, inclusion and belonging initiatives
  • 2+ years of experience with political, media, or regulatory stakeholders
  • 2+ years of experience involving organizational design, staffing or budgets

Responsibilities:

  • Directly support the Mexico leadership team in all Workforce Planning related activities, with a particular focus on intake process, prioritization, executive reporting, and non-associate labor management
  • Influence, develop, and own a principled approach to highlighting and monitoring key deliverables across the organization
  • Be a force-multiplier driving the effectiveness of Mexico City operations
  • Collaboratively develop, implement, and iterate management practices to enable transparency, efficiency and effectiveness of the organization
  • Own timely execution of monthly and quarterly horizontal reporting deliverables related to strategic and operational priorities
  • Advise leadership utilizing institutional knowledge, network of relationships in and out of the organization, and dedication to helping amplify impact
  • Partner with Admin team to evaluate and manage meeting schedules and time commitments
  • Maintain meaningful engagement with a wide range of associates and broader professionals motivated by and dedicated to a shared vision of a better future
  • Increase broad awareness of and celebrate the career interests, talents, and great work of your fellow associates
  • As needed, offer other ad-hoc consulting or operational support to major projects or organizational needs/opportunities
