This role is part of the enterprise-wide sustainability team shaping the future of impact within our brand and business. This work doesn’t just live in one function; social and environmental impact at lululemon is integrated in everything we do. The team leads and integrates our vision and initiatives across the company to create value for our brand, our collective (guests, employees, makers, ambassadors), and society. Responsibilities:

  • Drive enterprise development and implementation of lululemon’s 2030 climate strategy and roadmap towards meeting our science based targets for scopes 1, 2 and 3
  • Mobilize cross-functional working group(s) to action lululemon’s climate plan, and provide progress updates to the Climate Action Steering Committee, to support enterprise-wide accountability and decision-making
  • Partner with Responsible Supply Chain (RSC) Environment team to support their work with vendors, and partner with other key teams to ensure climate action aligns to enterprise roadmap
  • Embed climate action strategies and accountabilities in business strategy and operations, through strategic process and influence
  • Oversee lululemon’s corporate renewable electricity strategy to maintain achievement of RE100 goal
  • Co-develop and support implementation of owned/operated facility energy reduction and sustainable transportation strategies and roadmaps, in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Create future strategies including 2050 net zero roadmap and integration of nature/land-based climate solutions
  • Oversee the annual development of lululemon’s carbon footprint in accordance with established protocols
  • Oversee climate data analytics including the development of models and scenario analysis tools to support understanding of emissions hotspots and pathways to achieving 2030 and net zero goals
  • Prepare for upcoming climate legislation, including oversight of implementation of controls and software solutions to meet evolving protocols
  • Assess evolving climate and industry trends and conduct peer benchmarking, including by developing external relationships with climate experts and brands, and through collaboration platforms and working groups; intepret findings in business relevant ways.
  • Provide content for internal and external reporting initiatives such CDP, lululemon annual impact report and our climate transition action plan
  • Develop and deliver materials and education to key leaders across the organization to build business-relevant understanding of climate related legislation, trends and strategies
  • Lead and co-create relevant business cases in a complex and fast paced environment and contribute to building climate finance capacity within the organization and finance function
