Position: Senior Manager, Commercial Excellence Analytics & Distribution
Reports to: Director Commercial, DACH
Location: Remote or Munich, Germany

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager, Commercial Excellence Analytics & Distribution, DACH, will support the commercialization of a new agent for Geographic Atrophy in Germany, Austria and Switzerland by facilitating strategic and tactical decision making, sales operations, market research, planning, forecasting, competitive intelligence, information management, performance monitoring and distribution channel set-up and reporting.

  • Commercial excellence and Sales Force effectiveness knowledge
  • Excellent IT knowhow incl. MS office, SAP and Veeva CRM System
  • Veeva CRM-Sales- and multichannel marketing expertise
  • Experience with early phase life-cycle commercial activities
  • Good understanding of pharmaceutical business, preferably ophthalmologic/secondary care environment
  • Team player who has the ability and confidence to communicate effectively to all levels in the organization
  • Ability to constructive collaboration with international colleagues, cross-functional partners, 3P logistic and 3 P data providers
  • Project management capabilities
  • High learning agility and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Oral/written communication skills in German & English
  • Veeva CRM, Veeva Network, Veeva Multichannel, Veeva Vault working experience

Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager, Commercial Excellence Analytics & Distribution will be responsible for:

  • Sales operations support
  • performance monitoring and reporting
  • delivering individual business review support
  • covering and reporting salesforce and multichannel marketing contacts
  • assisting forecast creation
  • providing project management and planning competency
  • information management
  • Assisting segmentation & targeting adaptions
  • Insight generation through market research, competitive intelligence, business analytics and performance reporting
  • Close collaboration with 3P logistic and 3P data providers
  • Facilitating distribution channels and collecting related information
  • Contact for logistics partner, e.g., wholesaler, distribution chains and pharmacies
  • Facilitating of distribution channels as wholesalers and pharmacies specialized in ophthalmic treatment.
  • Close collaboration with Commercial Analytics and Logistics, International and partnering with Brand Lead, DACH and Sales Management DACH
