MongoDB’s People team is on a journey to optimize our compensation programs for scale. We are looking for strategic and analytical individuals to drive innovative, competitive compensation rewards programs that attract, reward and retain our best assets, our people!
To that end, our Global Compensation team is looking for a Senior Manager, Compensation Operations to play a significant leadership role in designing, implementing and supporting MongoDB’s global compensation program.
This role will report into our Senior Director, Global Compensation Operations and will have full ownership of the Compensation Operations function. This role will be supported by a dedicated senior analyst (plus other team resources as necessary) and will play a major role in driving our HR transformation agenda forward.
This role can be based out of our London, Dublin, Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris offices or remotely in the EMEA region.

Responsibilities:

  • Competitive Pay and Equity Ranges:
  • Responsible for ensuring broad based total compensation is competitively set. This includes base pay, bonus, equity and developing sales on-target earnings packages
  • Keep abreast of industry trends through active participation in the Tech Peer Group Compensation Forum, which is a curated industry professional network of Compensation & Rewards professionals
  • Technology Roadmap:
  • Drive the Total Rewards Technology transformation agenda on behalf of the global compensation team and partner with the HRIS team and other stakeholders on critical team projects
  • Specific projects include systematizing / automating global salary bands, job architecture, annual compensation and equity budgeting, etc. There is significant opportunity here for a compensation leader who has a bent for leveraging technology to unlock efficiencies and value!
  • Optimize usage of current employee compensation inquiry system (Zendesk) through real-time analytics as well as building up the knowledge article library
  • Compensation Cycles:
  • Work with key partners and the Compensation team to deliver the four compensation cycles: quarterly promotions and incentives, semi annual bonus and annual merit
  • In addition to delivery, there is a significant opportunity here to enhance the process and the end-user-experience for HR Business Partners as well as Business Leaders
  • Budgeting & Modeling:
  • Partner with our FP&A team to support the preparation of cost modeling for our annual cash and equity budgets as well as to inform quarterly spends vs budget
  • Take ownership of the various budgeting tools and migrate current tol slate to systematic technology solutions, as appropriate
  • Leader / Manager Training on Compensation
  • Empowering and enabling our leaders to have thoughtful and productive compensation conversations with their teams by delivering training and tools to support them
  • Developing best-in-class training content to ensure our employees have adequate transparency around MongoDB’s compensation philosophy to understand our pay principles
