Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

GoHealth Urgent Care is looking to hire a Corporate Development Manager to assist in all aspects of the company’s corporate development efforts, including M&A, joint ventures, new partnership opportunities, financing and other strategic transactions. We seek a team member who thrives in a growth culture and will help support and enhance our corporate development capabilities to ensure that we can meet or exceed our strategic growth objectives. This role will be primarily remote with occasional travel to the corporate office or market locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial evaluation process and due diligence process for all potential new joint ventures (JV) and all merger and acquisition (M&A) opportunities.
  • Lead/support operational and financial due diligence, including quality of earnings analysis
  • Organize and evaluate for completeness the data received from prospective JV and M&A targets
  • Analyze financial statements and produce valuation models
  • Support and manage pre-closing integration and closing processes
  • Support development of comprehensive financial and strategic rationale to inform determination of deal structure and deal negotiations
  • Provide accurate and timely analytics, reports, and insightful observations to corporate development team to enhance pipeline development
  • Maintain pitch books and prepare presentations
  • Lead and participate in external corporate development efforts with potential JV and M&A targets to drive greater pipeline development
  • Build relationships with potential JV and M&A targets’ finance team to ensure successful relationship management
  • Coordinate with finance, legal, revenue cycle, HR and other internal team members to help complete modeling and due diligence process
  • Grow and cultivate a team to continually improve and drive greater performance.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; major in accounting or related field required preferred
  • 3+ years of progressive responsibility in financial services or consulting with experience in in a Transaction Advisory Services or in Assurance/External Audit in a professional services firm is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis concepts, analytical ability, and attention to detail required
  • Strong project management/organizational skills; able to effectively prioritize assignments and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint) with strong Excel skills required
  • Excellent communication, written, verbal, and presentation skills required
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • CPA, CFA, or similar designation preferred
