Senior Manager (Costing & Reporting)

In this role, you will:

  • Monitor financials of projects as well as ensuring compliance of project accounting to the financial reporting standards
  • Review and track projects’ health status and escalate any potential risk on onerous and loss-making projects and follow up on timely actions required
  • Project / Facility / Manpower budgeting and planning
  • Review and provide analysis for actual resource utilisation to management
  • Improve process of provision of information for Divisions’ pro-active financial management and resource reallocation
  • Function as business partners to line divisions, offering sound advice on financial planning and operational issues
  • Conduct trainings to Project Leads on project governance
  • Identify areas to enhance workflow and processes through automations and other digitisation initiatives
  • Oversee accounts receivables
  • Review billing terms to optimise cashflow position
  • Ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting & Finance
  • At least 10 years of experience in the relevant field
  • Good knowledge and experience using SAP and automation tools. Proficient in Excel, Power BI, Access, SharePoint
  • Analytical thinker with good communication skills
  • Self-driven and proactive in seeking process improvement
  • Able to work both independently as well as with a team
