Zalando is seeking a Senior Manager, CSRD Reporting Governance to support its corporate reporting and management of priority reporting topics. You will be responsible for holding Zalando Group’s Annual Report compliant according to CSRD-related requirements. You are a reporting expert and up-to-date on recent developments in the reporting environment. As a Senior Manager, you will lead and steer cross-functional work streams and act as a counterpart to stakeholders on all levels and backgrounds across the business as well as outside the company. With your expertise, you will shape Zalando’s future reporting approach in line with regulatory requirements and take the company’s reporting to the next level.
This position is a maternity cover.

• You’ll take ownership of implementing CSRD in our management report and with this, you’ll shape Zalando’s future corporate reporting approach and identify opportunities to establish leading reporting practice in this area by working closely together with your colleagues from the sustainability and finance teams.
• You’ll be the reporting expert and as such take over a leading role in the audit of our non-financial statement, including engagement with external auditors and senior management. Furthermore, you will be part of the process to switch from limited to reasonable assurance and will support future enforcement procedures.
• You’ll improve internal processes and governance structures for our corporate non-financial reporting. You’ll support the setup of internal processes for CSRD-related data and the integration in our non-financial internal control system.
• You’ll engage with internal and external stakeholders to steer CSRD-related work streams across the business, ensuring a smooth and effective collaboration.
• You’ll monitor and analyze the impact of ESG reporting requirements, including gap analysis and reporting deliverables, and develop implementation plans for ESG reporting standards in cooperation with key stakeholders;
• You’ll assist in the development and maintenance of an auditable ESG data collection and control framework and in collecting, validating, and consolidating ESG data for internal and external reporting.
