Job Expectations
We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a Senior Manager Data Self Service reporting to the General Manager, Data Demand and Fulfilment Management.
A bit about your role
As the Senior Manager Data Self Service, you are responsible for developing the data and analytics (D&A) self-service strategy. This will need to align with the Chief Data Office (CDO) and overall nbn strategy. This role will see you collaborating with the business community to understand D&A self service requirements across tools and capabilities.
As the expert, you will maintain a self-service business roadmap for tools and capabilities and work with technical owners on delivering against the roadmap. You are to define and prioritise features, gather requirements, and create relevant guardrails to deliver a user-friendly and scalable self-service solution.
A bit about you
The successful candidate will bring significant experience as a D&A product owner. A consulting background in the data or technology space is preferred. You will have technical knowledge of self-service products including API and machine learning. Experience with data science environments including Sagemaker and data exploratory environment is required. Moreover, experience with Tableau, Power BI and Alteryx will be beneficial.
As a natural problem solver, you will possess the capabilities to problem solve and coordinate complex, self-service strategy, delivery, or alignment issues with the aptitude to translate complex data and technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Your highly developed communication skills coupled with your customer-centric mindset with a strong focus on user experience and satisfaction will be pivotal to your success in this role.
