About the team you are joining
You will be an integral part of our dynamic and forward-looking Architecture team, consisting of Domain, Solution, Integration and Enterprise Architects. Our team is dedicated to shaping the strategic technology direction of our organization, ensuring the alignment of IT solutions with business objectives. Reporting directly to the Head of Architecture Salesforce and Solution Design you will drive innovation for IATA and the Aviation Industry at large.
The Architecture team serves as the visionary force behind our technology landscape. We lead efforts to design and implement enterprise-wide unified solutions, establish technology standards, and provide guidance on technology investments. As the Senior Manager Enterprise Architect you will play a pivotal role in defining our technology roadmap to ensure that our IT initiatives deliver high quality Digital Products and Services for today and for the future.
What your day would be like
Collaborate with IATA and Industry business leaders and stakeholders to understand strategic goals and define technology requirements.
Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture blueprints and roadmaps that guide technology decisions.
Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
Lead architecture reviews and ensure adherence to architectural principles and best practices.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Partner with project managers, developers and product owners to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects. This can include all aspects of designing modern IT Solutions in an Agile SCRUM team.

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect (or a similar role) in the Aviation Industry or a large organization.
Expertise in designing and implementing complex, enterprise-level systems.
Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Expertise with cloud technologies and modern application architectures.
Relevant certifications, such as Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA) or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
