Quanterix’ technology is designed to enable much earlier disease detection, better prognosis and precise treatment methods to improve the quality of life and longevity of the population for generations to come. The technology is currently being used for research applications in several therapeutic areas, including oncology, neurology, cardiology, inflammation and infectious disease.
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Manager, Equipment Engineering to join our Technical Operation Group. This individual should be self-motivated, creative, and proactive, able to work successfully in a fast-paced environment including multiple platforms and architectures, diverse technologies, and lab environments. The individual will work closely with manufacturing operations, quality, process engineer, assay and reagent R&D, scientists, and other stakeholders to solve problems and achieve success. The Senior Manager, Equipment Engineering will oversee a team of engineers and be responsible for managing daily production challenges, driving continuous improvement activities and helping to implement or improve existing systems to increase the quality and efficiency of our operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of engineers responsible for supporting both daily and future needs of manufacturing.
  • Provide technical support and coaching to team members
  • Desire and ability to provide hands on equipment support in manufacturing lab
  • Identify capacity concerns and drive solutions to eliminate bottlenecks
  • Identify areas for automation as a means of improving productivity, efficiency and profitability
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within cross-functional teams as both a team player and a leader
  • Demonstrated analytical and creative thinker with interpersonal skills
  • Manage projects related to implementation and design of larger scale equipment and processes into manufacturing
  • Train new employees as well as MFG associates on relevant equipment and processes
