Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related filed required. Appropriate professional qualification/certification to practice finance in country/region preferred
  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance with three years of experience as a Manager in a related Financial field
  • Experience with complex Accounting issues
  • Advanced Excel and database skills
  • Advanced experience with ERP systems
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with management and executive levels across functions

Responsibilities:

  • Leads staff and project activities for applicable function(s). Manages professional level finance staff and may manage other management level employees
  • Utilizes expertise and knowledge to select, develop and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of the function
  • Manages complex budget and critical process improvements for function
  • Recommends strategy and changes for development of improved policy and procedures
  • Builds and maintains relationships with company management. Works closely and partners with senior leadership of function
  • Manages the staff review of month-end closing activities and the preparation of applicable financial statements
  • Strategically integrates applicable financial practices, procedures and process improvements in accordance with relevant financial bodies standards and regulations
  • Manages processes to ensure the accurate analysis of inventory valuation and reporting of financial data
  • Manages evaluation of applicable financial processes and impact of operational decision
