Position Summary
Samsung is looking for an experienced Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to join the Business Planning team and lead the Consolidation, Reporting and Analysis role. This includes managing the planning and reporting functions as well as overseeing all operational analysis for the supported areas. This position will report to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and will work closely with the FP&A team.
Role and Responsibilities

  • Consolidate Financial Forecast and Reporting for the MX Retail Division
  • Provide in depth analyses for Financial and Operational projects and investments
  • Submit monthly forecasts with value-added variance explanations and insights
  • Streamline systems and processes to increase efficiency while mitigate errors and redundancies
  • Prepares program budgets, project plans, expenditures, and other related reports to identify performance and successful achievement of objectives
  • Coordinates and handles the escalation of critical product availability, launch issues, and sales demands with manufacturing leadership
  • Direct financial support for the Retail Operations Field team including Financial Planning and Analysis, process and funding execution
  • Develop appropriate measurement and reporting tools to analyze operating results and interpretation of data
  • Respond to budget related requests for financial data and perform ad-hoc analysis
  • Responsible for reconciling all financial results including invoices, exception reports, audit results and remittance changes.
  • Deliver reporting and analytics to a variety of key business stakeholders, utilizing appropriate data to effectively create actionable spending plans

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of directly related experience
  • Strong ability to influence and work constructively; Advanced ability to work well with team members and DTC leadership and respectful of all positions at all levels
  • Ability to collect and understand relevant market data and apply it to financial plans
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of PC software applications experience with solid Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Skills and Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree with 6+ years of directly related experience
  • Prior experience in FP&A, Marketing Budget management, Field Force management, Staffing Optimization, Retail Operations, Carrier and product go-to-market
  • Experience utilizing SAP R/3 software or similar soft software
  • Independent thinking self-starter who’s developed strong working partnerships in global corporations (multi-lingual Korean)
