Description:

J&J Technology Services is recruiting for a Sr. Manager – Functional Engineering (FE) to be located in Raritan NJ or New Brunswick NJ. We will give consideration to JNJ sites within the US.
Looking for a creative and strong leader you can drive accountability, shape technology strategy and drive overall delivery of technical solutions! We are looking for an individual who will work in partnership with technology leaders across all IT services to ensure the timely and quality release of products to our employees across the globe. The FE is accountable to shape and lead the IT shared services delivery of innovative technical solutions/products for our employees supporting corporate functions.
Under the direction of the Director, Technology Solutions Engagement, the FE is accountable for the creation of teams of Technology Services resources deliver against business value stream roadmaps and key programs designed to enable shared business outcomes. This individual will serve as an advocate within Technology Services to enable the technical capabilities of shared services to global product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Business Technology, value stream leaders and product managers to shape technology solutions and establish technology roadmaps that support business strategy and help achieve efficient and effective delivery of business and customer value.
  • Collaborate and partner to define innovative solutions in the market to address business needs.
  • End to End accountability to ensure Technology Services work products meets stated business needs and achieves desired outcomes.
  • Lead Technology solutioning, delivery and program oversight spanning multiple technologies and platforms.
  • Lead delivery of business technology products and the ongoing operation of cohesive, coordinated solutions spanning the full range of IT service capabilities.
  • Communicate within the technical and business environments with ability to interpret, develop and present information to multiple audiences.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze complex challenges and make decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in the field of Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or related field of study.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum 12 years of relevant Information Technology experience.
  • Minimum 15 years of Business Experience.
  • Experience defining business and technology roadmaps.
  • Experience leading technology delivery through Scaled Agile methodologies, processes and rituals.
  • Prior experience solutioning Omni-channel and/or digital/portal experiences.
  • Experience shaping and leading large complex cross-functional solutions.
  • Experience leading all aspects of the product development lifecycle.
  • Experience working across all IT functions (e.g. operations, infrastructure, call center and end application maintenance, etc.).
  • Experience establishing strong customer relationships and prior experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience working with large external supplier/partner teams to bring products/services to market.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority.
  • Proven technical and people leadership.

Preferred:

  • Good understanding of Commercial Pharmaceutical processes, practices, and technology ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of global corporate business functions.
  • Experience leading large case management initiatives using enterprise technology platforms such as ServiceNow, SFDC, etc.
  • Knowledge of reliability and observability principles.
  • Prior experience delivering technology solution within a regulated industry.
  • Prior experience working within a shared services organization.
  • Prior management and technology consulting experience.
  • Strong technical leadership

  • 5-10% travel required

Anticipated Salary Range: $118,000- $203,550
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis
