Description:

HOW WILL I HELP?

The Senior Manager, Fusion Centre will be responsible for leading the design, implementation and run of a cyber-physical-fraud virtual fusion centre. This role will involve bringing together stakeholders from across the organisation to create and run processes which produce integrated threat assessments and support the organisation in effectively responding to those threats.

HOW DO I APPLY?

At Westpac we are committed to providing a supportive culture and creating diverse, inclusive, and accessible workplaces, branches, products and services for our customers, employees, and community. This role is open to experienced candidates seeking a discussion around workplace flexibility. We invite candidates of all ages, genders, sexual orientation, cultural backgrounds, people with disability, neurodiverse individuals, and Indigenous Australians to apply . If you have questions about the recruitment process, please email talentacquisition@westpac.com.au .

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Fusion Council, a monthly forum that brings together stakeholders from across fraud, physical, cyber, and digital, as well as Government Affairs and media relations.
  • Initially develop and implement a series of workshops to support the planning and implementation of the fusion centre, including establishing milestones and measures to track the effectiveness of the centre.
  • Produce regular fusion reports that provide combined intelligence briefs on scams, physical threats, fraud, and cyber threats. These reports should be presented in a consolidated format and should highlight opportunities to address blended threats through actions or policy change.
  • Develop and implement fusion centre processes to support the effective operation of the centre including interaction with cyber-physical-fraud operations teams.
  • Collaborate with existing working groups focused on digital and physical security, fraud, and scams to ensure a coordinated approach to threat management.
  • Recommend improvements to existing cyber-physical-fraud processes to embed fusion as a key feature of our operating model and habits. Success will see disparate teams thinking about all the security threats facing the Group and acting in a coordinated way to prevent them and respond to them.
