POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Benefits to oversee the design, implementation, and administration of our comprehensive employee benefits programs globally. The Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the competitiveness and effectiveness of our benefits offerings, aligning them with the company’s strategic objectives and the needs of our diverse workforce. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of all country benefits regulations, trends, and best practices, coupled with strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company’s global benefits strategy, in alignment with organizational goals, budgetary constraints, and industry benchmarks.
  • Manage all aspects of employee benefits programs, including health and wellness plans, retirement savings, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, and other ancillary benefits.
  • Stay abreast of legislative changes and regulatory requirements related to employee benefits, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and FMLA.
  • Lead the annual US benefits renewal process, including negotiations with vendors and brokers, and evaluation of plan options to optimize cost-effectiveness and value for employees.
  • Facilitate employee education and communication initiatives to promote participation in the 401(k) plan, including enrollment meetings, investment seminars, and retirement planning resources
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Legal, and other departments to ensure seamless administration and communication of benefits programs.
  • Analyze benefits utilization data, employee feedback, and industry trends to assess the effectiveness of current offerings and identify opportunities for enhancements.
  • Oversee the administration of benefits enrollment, eligibility, and claims processing, leveraging technology solutions to streamline processes and enhance employee experience.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on benefits-related inquiries, serving as a subject matter expert and resource for resolving complex issues.
  • Lead all employee leave management processes and coordinate with the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Drive initiatives to promote employee well-being and engagement, such as wellness programs, employee assistance resources, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CEBS, PHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in benefits management, preferably in a corporate environment or professional services firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of employee benefits regulations, compliance requirements, and industry trends.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, assess program effectiveness, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands, meet deadlines, and drive initiatives to completion.
  • High degree of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information.
