Are you the new Senior Manager, Compensation & Benefits we are looking for?
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Compensation & Benefits professional to work for a forward-looking company. In this role you will be contributing to the design and implementation of our base salary structures globally and ensuring our processes meet our objectives regarding competitive remuneration and pay for performance. You report to Director, Compensation & Benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on the design and management of our salary structures, market data analysis and annual salary review processes.
  • Take the lead for equal pay analysis.
  • Ensure our job grading system is aligned across the businesses.
  • Perform research on emerging trends, issues, and best practices regarding compensation and benefits programs.
  • Develop compensation practices in cooperation with our businesses to support their needs.
  • Provide support, advice and training for region C&B and operational HR professionals regarding the processes within your responsibility area.

This position will be in any major Valmet location in Finland.
Expectations
To excel in this role, you must have solid experience of compensation and benefits policies, practices and processes in a global stock listed company in Finland. You should at least have a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance or a related field, though a Master’s degree in a related field is highly desirable.
You are super-motivated and have a can-do attitude. You are independent and have an ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. In this role you need strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and spoken English is a must along with effective communication and presentation skills and you can design and deliver trainings for stakeholders. You are really good at networking, and you build relationships quickly to achieve results both individually and as part of a team. You have also strong project management skills.
