Description:

Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include:
- Working independently and with the Head of Government Affairs and Policy, to ensure Westpac has strong relationships with key Federal and State politicians.
- Collaboratively leading the development and delivery of an orderly and effective plan of State and Federal political engagement for the Group Executive, including managing and developing pro-active engagement opportunities
- Monitoring, communicating and anticipating material political developments.
- Managing compliance obligations per mandatory disclosure requirements.
- Managing a variety of public policy and reputational issues in partnership with the business to ensure Westpac influences the best outcome for the bank and our customers
