Description:
AeroLogic is a modern cargo airline based at Leipzig/Halle Airport. It was founded in 2007 as joint venture of DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo. With a very modern fleet of 22 new Boeing 777F AeroLogic mostly serves destinations in Asia and the USA. AeroLogic has a daily connection to Hong Kong and several connections like Bangkok, Singapore, Shanghai, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of Ground Operations of a cargo airline
- Degree in business administration or aerospace engineering or equal knowledge and skills
- Excellent knowledge in standard ground operations processes and procedures (IATA industry standards). Additional knowledge of Lufthansa and DHL manuals and weight & balance systems is an advantage
- Specialized knowledge in warehouse and customs processes
- Experience in station opening procedures and station management functions
- Very good knowledge of legal regulations [e.g., LBA / EASA / Regulation (EC) 965/2012, ICAO / IATA regulations]
- Fluent spoken and written English, ability to communicate in German. Other languages are an advantage
- Very good knowledge of standard IT skills (MS Office)
- Analytical-minded team player with very good communication skills and conflict handling, who is able to work andmake decisions under pressure with respect to strict deadlinesThe role involves extensive duty travels

Responsibilities:
- Representation of the company’s interests with regard to aircraft handling, authorities and network worldwide in the scope of Ground Operations
- Responsible for adherence to quality standards of Ground Operations and improvement of processes
- Station openings including operations procedures handover
- HUB stakeholder coordination
- Continuous station consulting including monitoring the ground handling agents and regular surveillance
- Handling of irregularities concerning aircraft handling & dangerous goods
- Handling of ad hoc charter requests
- Leading a team
