The Senior Manager HR PMO plays a critical role in establishing and leading the HR Project Management Office (PMO) function, driving transformation initiatives, and providing insights and management across a portfolio of HR initiatives. This strategic leader will focus on establishing a new operating model for the HR function and leading the organization through a transformation journey to optimize HR processes and enhance organizational effectiveness.

What you’ll do

  • PMO Establishment: Lead the establishment of the HR Project Management Office (PMO), defining standards, processes, and tools for project management within the HR function.
  • HR Shared Services Establishment: Lead the establishment of an HR Shared Services organization, designing and implementing centralized processes and services to enhance HR service delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Operating Model Development: Collaborate with HR leadership and stakeholders to develop and implement a new operating model for the HR function, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Transformation Leadership: Lead the HR function through a transformation journey, driving change initiatives to optimize HR processes, enhance efficiency, and improve service delivery.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of HR initiatives, providing insights, oversight, and management to ensure successful execution and achievement of desired outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including HR leadership, business partners, and project sponsors, to drive collaboration and alignment on project objectives.
  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to HR transformation initiatives, ensuring effective communication, training, and stakeholder engagement to facilitate successful implementation and adoption.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track project performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, driving a culture of continuous improvement within the HR function.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop PMO capabilities, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development to foster growth.

You should have

  • 8+ years of experience in HR project management, PMO leadership, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading the establishment of PMO functions and driving transformation initiatives within HR or related functions.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, practices, and regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Six Sigma) is advantageous
