Description:

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a Finance accounting role or a compensation and benefits role.
  • Excellent Microsoft software skills, and experience in the EVA compensation model and various share plans will be necessary.
  • Meticulous, numerically inclined with a keen analytical ability.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, mature, responsible and possess initiative.
  • Able to contribute individually and through others, and lead a team in working effectively and efficiently to deliver stated goals and results.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

This position will be part of the Compensation and Benefits team where you will support the Group, Country and REITs’ rewards programs by designing, developing and implementing compensation and benefit programs in accordance with Company philosophy, statutory requirements and regulations, and to ensure competitiveness.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead annual salary, bonus and share plans review and recalibration cycle via collaboration with various HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and functional Business Unit Heads
  • Collaborate with external compensation consultants to ensure timely and accurate submission of reports for presentation to the MIPL Group Executive Resource and Compensation Committee (ERCC) and Mapletree REITs Nominating and Remuneration Committees (NRC)
  • Serve as the main HR liaison with Group, Country and REITs Finance teams to ensure accurate accounting of the various compensation programs, financial reports disclosures as well as advise on financial implications including but not limited to tax and accounting amortisation methodologies
  • Provide guidance and support to HRBPs on all compensation and manpower budgeting related matters, including but not limited to salary structures, cost center allocations, salary budget accruals, and annual manpower cost budgets
  • Conduct regular salary benchmarking and analysis to ensure that employee total rewards remains competitive
  • Manage the Mapletree benefits and EAP programs globally. This includes annual review of benefits offerings, insurance renewal and other related activities
  • Complete ad hoc projects assigned from time to time
