JOB DESCRIPTION

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking a talented Senior Manager Human Resources Business Partner to join our EMEA Human Resources team. As a member of the HR Business Partner (HRBP) team, you will work across all aspects of human resources including, but not limited to, associate relations, workforce planning, organizational development, talent acquisition and compensation. Working with associates at multiple levels, you will be a day-to-day point of contact for all inquiries, questions, and associate conversations. An A&F Co. HRBP is expected to prioritize the role of talent in achieving the company’s strategic priorities. Highly cross functional, the HRBP will work across partners within human resources, related business units, finance, legal and others. In addition to supporting our EMEA associates, our team is focused on making A&F Co. a place where people can continually develop and grow as inclusive leaders.
This job is located at our EMEA Home Office located in London, England.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage HR partnership with the EMEA team and operate as a critical business partner to associates to drive business performance
  • Partner with the other HR centers of excellence and HR business partners to align on initiatives
  • Use key business metrics and a solid understanding of business operations to develop tailored solutions and innovation
  • Responsible for associate relations, labor relations, talent development, performance management, retention, and compliance management
  • Stay curious and research best practices in learning, growth, and development to ensure our teams evolve in progressive ways
  • Provide guidance and coaching to associates at multiple levels of the organization. Coach, counsel, and guide supervisors regarding associate interactions
  • Manage resourcing and staffing strategy through close partnership with leaders on turnover, transfers, retention, promotions and succession planning
  • Guide organizational design and assist leaders through structural shifts, destination org work, business re-alignment & general org chart maintenance/architecture
  • Partner with compensation on job offers, internal promotions, and compensation actions needed
  • Partner with recruiting at various stages of the candidate lifecycle (job intakes, interviews, business correspondence, offers etc.).
  • Act as project manager for HR related initiatives
  • Input associate information into various HRIS systems (PeopleSoft) and analyze data
  • Maintain and develop key relationships with cross functional business partners at the Global Home Office
  • Stay highly curious and connected to the associate perspective, external trends in the industry and beyond as it relates to talent management, practices, policies; as well as our customer insights
