The CO+I Supply Chain Planning & Analytics team is seeking a seasoned and innovative Production Planning Manager with a passion for data, analytics, process improvements, helping others, technology, and operations. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Analytics, or related field.
  • Data Center Construction Experience is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience with Data Cleansing and Normalization and translation into a resource plan.
  • 5+ years of experience in resource planning of large-scale capital projects.
  • Deep technical knowledge of project scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera, Procore, MS Project) and scheduling methodology.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing vendor labor resources for large-scale and complex construction projects in the APAC region.
  • Strong knowledge of the construction labor market, regulations, and best practices in the APAC
  • region.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex challenges, and operate in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and data analysis tools.
  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region and occasionally to other regions.
  • Partner with cross-functional business stakeholders on milestone achievements and long lead equipment delivery.
  • Develop and maintain a master schedule/plan of all supplier labor and resources required for construction projects.
  • Develop and implement tools and processes for improving schedule management.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 1+ year(s) internship experience in supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience
  • Operations experience – Sales ops, manufacturing ops, Commercial SCM ops (Demand and supply planning, logistics) – 50 - 70%
  • Advanced understanding of data taxonomy, databases, ER diagrams
  • SQL database experience
  • Data Architecture experience
  • Master Scheduling Experience

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Manager for construction labor planner, you will be responsible for overseeing the vendor labor planning and management for multiple data center construction projects in the APAC region. You will work closely with the Global Supply Chain teams, construction project managers, and vendors to ensure that the labor resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to meet the project goals and timelines. You will also monitor the labor performance, risks, and costs along with quality and safety standards, and provide feedback and guidance to the vendors and the internal teams.

  • Develop and implement the vendor labor planning strategy and process for the data center construction projects in the APAC region.
  • Coordinate with the project managers, construction managers, and vendors to identify the labor requirements, availability, and constraints for each project.
  • Optimize the labor utilization and allocation across multiple projects and locations, and ensure that the labor resources are aligned with the project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with project requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Track and analyze the labor performance, quality, and safety metrics, and provide regular reports and feedback to the vendors and the internal teams.
  • Conduct regular schedule reviews to identify potential conflicts and risks – provide project status updates to senior leadership, including analysis of schedule performance and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Identify and resolve any labor issues, risks, or conflicts that may arise during the project execution, and escalate them as needed.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration with the internal and external stakeholders and foster a culture of trust and excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all labor-related activities.
