Description:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • 7+ years of experience of relevant OD and learning experience, as well as designing and delivering learning strategies and plans
  • 5 years of managing and developing learning function and team, with deep experience in utilizing effective leadership practices to attract, develop and retain top talent at all levels
  • 2+ years leadership and executive development experience
  • 3+ years of experience leading development initiatives and managing a corporate training department
  • Strong business acumen and a track record of success in partnership with senior leadership and HR Business Partners, ideally in technology space
  • An experienced L&D professional who can draw from experience, insights, and thought leadership to create innovative learning experiences
  • A creative problem-solving approach equipped with new ideas and fresh thinking
  • Equally comfortable pivoting between strategic focuses and operational delivery
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders, partner, employees and leaders across the organization and enterprise
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to develop and implement successful learning strategies in a fast-paced environment, on budget and on time
  • Superior organizational and process management skills as demonstrated by an ability to manage multiple detailed projects and drive toward deadlines
  • Current on best practices within the Learning and OD community and able to adapt and evolve such practices within different organizations
  • Possess a consultative mindset and skills, project management skills, and facilitation skills are critical for success.
  • Leverage a combination of impeccable written and verbal communication skills with the ability to listen and adapt messages, allowing you to work closely with key stakeholders and multiple teams to tell compelling stories
  • Expertise in the design and delivery of intact team training and teambuilding; excellent facilitation and delivery skills for training and off sites
  • Success in the diagnosing and prescription of organizational development interventions
  • Ability to collect and analyze data to effectively support performance improvement recommendations and solutions.
  • Strong technical aptitude; advanced skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office to include: Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Master’s degree in area related to learning, organizational development, or human resources highly preferred
    The hiring range for this position in Glendale, California is $148,200 to $181,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered

The Sr. Manager will define and implement strategies that support the on-going development of critical business and leadership skills and promote a learning culture. This role is responsible for consulting with our global DE&ET clients, Learning & Talent Solutions COE, stakeholders and HR Business Partners to set the Learning & Talent Development Department strategy. It encompasses providing leadership, direction, and insight for innovative learning solutions and scalable skill-based training and leadership development programs, that integrates the needs of our vast and global businesses and aligns with our enterprise talent strategy. Responsibilities include designing, developing, delivering and evaluate learning solutions to build organizational, leadership and employee capabilities to achieve business objectives. Additionally, this role will also function as the key liaison spearheading common learning solutions and curriculum, managing through influence and leading activities across our team.
