Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO…
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Strategy, Risk, & Operations eDiscovery team at the world’s largest retailer. As Senior Manager, you will work closely with the Legal and Global Investigations departments to oversee the collection and delivery of non-custodial data, including adherence to the program’s standard policies, procedures, and quality assurance requirements. This individual will also be responsible for proactively identifying potential risks and working with our business and technology partners to find solutions and enhance existing processes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Performing eDiscovery services at the direction of counsel, including support for document retrieval through production, discovery strategy, and scoping non-custodial data sources.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on protocols specific to Walmart’s data sources, including continual refinement of process documentation.
- Leading a team of skilled discovery professionals and driving operational efficiencies by triaging incoming requests, prioritizing assignments, and addressing urgent needs.
- Identifying and providing development opportunities for team members through activities such as trainings, mentoring, teambuilders, goal setting, and regular performance discussions.
- Driving continual process and program improvement initiatives through the proactive identification of potential risks, business needs, performance barriers, and new technologies.
- Balancing a substantial workload with advanced soft skills such as time management, organization, communication, adaptability, critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, leadership, work ethic, and self-awareness.
- Promoting and supporting company policies, missions, values, and standards of ethics and integrity throughout everything we do.
