SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience in a banking environment with exposure to Corporate/ Institutional and/or Large Rural clients either as a credit analyst, credit approval or in another relevant capacity
• People Leadership
• Credit, risk, and banking knowledge
• Strong risk management experience
• Analytical and problem-solving skills

ABOUT THE ROLE

Major Agribusiness Clients (MAC) segment focuses on Country Banking AU +AUD30mln client set, which are managed by our specialised MAC Relationship Managers. MAC aims to deliver a superior client service to our largest and most complex customers, supported by a dedicated deal team approach, offering specialist knowledge, research, product, and structuring expertise.
The MAC Credit Analysts are a National Team who services the MAC segment across the regions. As a national team they help drive the best possible client (and risk) outcomes by working closely with the MAC Relationship Managers and as a crucial part of the MAC deal team structure.
As the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring direct reports within MAC Credit Analyst team, as well as other members of the team as required.
This role could be completed from the following locations: Brisbane, Toowoomba or Sydney

Some of the other responsibilities include:

• Co-ordination and management of workflow for the MAC Relationship Managers and to ensure that the preparation of all submissions and client related tasks undertaken by the analysts are completed efficiently, accurately, and consistently (in line with required standards as determined by the Head of Credit Analysts CB AU).
• With the Head of Credit Analysts CB AU, manage Stakeholder relationships with Regional Managers and MAC Relationship Managers.
• Identify and drive best practices, process improvement and strategic initiatives to drive quality, productivity, and growth in the MAC segment.
• Develop standards and implement procedures accordingly for the CB MAC AU segment. This role is to be undertaken in alignment and co-operation with members of the peer group, under the guidance of the Head of Credit Analysts CB AU.
