THKMC was incorporated on 13 October 2011 as a charity to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large, and achieved an Institute of Public Character (IPC) status on 18 November 2011. THKMC is the charitable arm of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society, which lives by the mission To Serve Mankind to help anyone who needs help regardless of their race, religion, colour, language, creed and culture. THKMC today serves more than 70,000 beneficiaries through more than 70 programmes across five Services, which include Disability, Early Intervention for Children, Family, Seniors’ Community, and Therapy.
DESIGNATION : Senior Manager/Manager, Fundraising

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies to secure funding from individuals, corporations, foundations and the public.
• Plan and execute donor relations and stewardship activities to deliver a positive donor experience.
• Draft proposals, presentations and donor communications.
• Track, evaluate and analyze acquisition of donors/donations to align with the organization’s goals.
• Manage media relations and press release activities pertaining to pre and post fundraising activities and community outreach projects.
• Implement and ensure compliance to best practices in fundraising, donor relations and data protection.
• Any other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma/Degree in Business/Communications/Marketing/Media/Social Services.
• Minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience, with 3-5 years in a leadership position.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Service-oriented and strong stakeholder management.
• Meticulous, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to adapt and collaborate with others across different functions and environments.
• Experienced in budgeting for fundraising, donor relations and communications programs.
• Independent and takes initiative.
• Desire to excel and thrive in a dynamic social service setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
• A passion to serve.

The Senior Manager, Fundraising is responsible for developing and implementing effective fundraising and community engagement platforms. The right candidate will nurture a philanthropic spirit among staff, supporters and the public.
