Description:

JOB SUMMARY

Oversees the development, support and continued improvement of manufacturing processes across major functions or multiple facilities.

What you will do :

  • Managing the planning, documentation, implementation, support and maintenance of manufacturing processes, procedures, machinery and tooling to improve efficiency, cost effectiveness, quality and safety.
  • Researching process performance data to identify and implement process changes that improve yield, runtime, quality, safety and cost-effectiveness.
  • Managing the activities and resources for manufacturing engineers, process design and support personnel.
  • Providing on-going support for manufacturing problems and deficiencies; troubleshoots technically challenging production problems.
  • Developing and implementing strategic capital investment plans, for both machining and assembly facilities.
  • Ensuring successful NPI & NSI launches for both machining and assembly facilities.
  • Developing and implementing new technology introduction (NTI) to improve safety, quality, velocity, and cost.
  • Coaching and developing manufacturing engineering team to ensure strategic goals are met.
  • What you Will have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent experience in Engineering or Technology Discipline.
  • Extensive experience in Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Expert Level experience in Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.
  • Extensive experience with Collaborating: Knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Working level knowledge of Organizational Leadership: Knowledge of leadership concepts and ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives.
  • Extensive experience in Capacity Planning & Management - MFG: Knowledge of tools, approaches and practices for determining production demand and ability to manage resources needed to provide satisfactory levels of service.
