Description:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor degree; preferably masters/ graduate degree in a business-related area
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a marketing leadership role
  • Have experience inB2B marketing in a logistics, IT or Financial services setup
  • Academic pursuits in digital marketing (SEM, SEO, Social Media Marketing, Analytics etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategy and business plans for all aspects of marketing
  • Practical experience in the field of digital performance marketing including but not limited to PPC, SEO, Social and affiliate marketing
  • Experience in content marketing, sponsorships and brand management
  • Experience in advertising, media planning and other aspects of communications
  • Experience leading and managing teams/stakeholders spread across different geographic locations
  • Proven track record of project management experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite - especially PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign is an added advantage

Responsibilities:

OVERALL ROLE PURPOSE:

  • To lead as country’s Commercial-Marketing Strategist
  • Support country revenue, drive customer loyalty and uplift brand value through strategic marketing initiatives
  • Activate and Curate a portfolio of Global and Local Sponsorships
  • To shape the direction of digital as a marketing channel for the country

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Commercial Marketing Strategist
  • Revenue Generation: Develop marketing activities/campaigns aligned with Commercial Priorities and drive Marketing Performance through digital as a channel, integrated marketing, lead generation and retail programs with meaningful KPIs
  • CRM: Drive customer affinity through initiatives around SME engagement, thought leadership and content creation
  • Giveaway Management: source and distribute creative customer giveaways for salespeople including managing compliance approvals
  • Formulate effective campaigns supporting the salesforce in order to achieve targeted return of investments from the implementation of these strategies
  • Digital Marketing Leadership
  • Performance Marketing: Drive digital efforts across the marketing funnel to improve awareness, consideration and purchase decisions. Hands-on management and optimization of both paid and owned media channels such as search, display, content and social to maximise sales leads.
  • Campaigns: Create campaigns on Marketo, increase open rates and ROIs of “push” communications to customers. Develop alternative channels to reach customers
  • Data Analytics: Leverage on data to drive meaningful insights and business outcomes
  • Website and content hub: Define, plan and execute content strategy driving brand reach, sales leads
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations and IT to drive the marketing of our products and services and increase DHL’s market presence
  • Global & Local Sponsorship Management
  • Possess strong events and project management skills to manage Global Sponsorship activations and local events
  • Ability to curate unique local partnerships in country to drive brand awareness and engagement
  • Organize and suggest new/ creative tactics to enhance partnerships’ successes
  • Organize local events to promote customer engagement
  • Manage compliance approvals for customer events
  • Marketing Efficiency Driver
  • Brand Custodian: Ensure brand uniformity across all touchpoints (e.g. social media and stores branding)
  • Budget Management: Manage AP&P budget to ensure maximum ROI
  • Trends and Adoption: Stay abreast of latest trends and best practices in Marketing and influence early adoption
  • Develop a high-performance culture within the marketing team
  • Maintain high level of motivation within the team members
  • Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.
  • Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets.
  • Conduct performance appraisals
  • Continuously assess skills and competencies of the team against market trends and ensure they stay abreast
