POSITION SUMMARY

This role is at the core of the UKI Medical Strategy and Operations team, reporting to the Associate Director of Medical S&O. It serves as a strategic partner to the UKI medical functions, the broader medical S&O team and BMS Worldwide teams for strategic direction and /or execution of medical projects. Learning agility, flexibility, and forward-thinking mindset, paired with excellent coordination skills will be crucial for success in this highly matrixed, fast-paced role.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Advanced tertiary level education (i.e. degree or Masters). Scientific background preferred
  • Project co-ordination skills supporting diverse teams at different levels in a business environment
  • Understanding and working knowledge of epidemiology and data generation
  • Exceptional ability to work and lead cross functionally (internal or external) in highly matrixed structure
  • Previous experience in budgeting, project and change management (formal qualifications in change and/ or project management are a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of broader healthcare landscape and pharmaceutical business operations
  • Excellent communicator, proficiency in all Office business applications. Knowledge of SAP, Concur, Veeva applications, Sharepoints, Teams is also desirable
  • Demonstrates passion for serving patients with a high unmet medical need
  • Solution-orientated approach to problem-solving and in identifying opportunities for improvement
  • High personal integrity with a strong motivation to ensure compliant and ethical activities for the business
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and demonstrate professional judgement
  • Knowledge of ABPI Code of Practice and Project management experience with RWD or with projects within the pharmaceutical industry is desirable
  • Leadership and delivery of innovative approaches to projects/initiatives
