McLeod Centers for Wellbeing was founded in 1969 in Charlotte, North Carolina. It has since grown to be the largest provider of comprehensive substance use disorder treatment in western North Carolina. McLeod Centers is accepting applications for a Senior Manager of Treatment Services to work for its western regional programs (Hickory, Statesville, Marion, and Lenoir).

JOB SUMMARY

Primary responsibilities include overseeing operations and performance of assigned treatment programs within the department. Responsible for contributing to overall program and agency growth and development.

What does this position do for the agency? The position is responsible for the following, with other duties as assigned:

  • Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization as well as the established clinical philosophy and standards.
  • Acts a liaison between clinical/operational leadership and Program Managers ensuring effective, accurate, and open communication.
  • Establishes proactive onboarding and training of new Program Managers and ongoing training for all Program Managers for assigned treatment programs.
  • Supervises and mentors Program Managers in development of leadership skills and daily operations of the program including but not limited to staffing (e.g., hiring, onboarding, training, and development of program staff) and program growth (e.g., identifying objectives, establishing goals, and evaluating outcomes).
  • Provides clear expectations, education, direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Organizes services and systems necessary for the multidisciplinary approach throughout the continuum of care
  • Collaborates with the compliance team to ensure ongoing compliance in all documentation and policies.
  • Establishes and develops ongoing quality/performance improvement processes and procedures for assigned treatment programs.
  • Ensures resources allocated within budgetary requirements.
  • Collaborates effectively with other department leaders proactively to identify problems/barriers and develop solutions using problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Participates in community engagement opportunities to facilitate community presence, involvement, and relationships.
  • Maintains accurate and timely documentation as required.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or higher (Master’s preferred) with 3 or more years’ experience in leadership.
Certificates and Licenses:
CADC or licensure (LCMHC/A, LCSW/A, LMFT/A, LCAS/A) preferred but not required.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient with standard office packages.
