CONNECT TO YOUR SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Essentials

  • Proven experience within a (re)insurer or insurance brokerage working closely with or in transformation, or a consulting firm with a focus on Insurance engagements
  • Subject matter expertise in one or more detailed areas of the UK insurance industry and market, including macro trends (e.g. transformation drivers, regulatory, economic, and business factors) or disruptive technologies (e.g. Generative AI, and Digital) that are driving change and impacting business models of key institutions
  • Experience of delivering within projects or leading workstreams on transformations such as target operating model design / implementation, process re-engineering or cost reduction
  • Able to articulate complex ideas to all levels of an organisation, and effectively lead and manage all key stakeholders and team members, resolving issues, competing demands and conflicts
  • Excellent ability in Microsoft Office, particularly in Powerpoint and Excel
  • A strong understanding of risk, how to mitigate risk and protect the firm’s reputation
  • An understanding of the diverse requirements of clients and the need to work on projects in differing geographies and time zones

Desirable Skill Set Examples

  • Knowledge of business design and business architecture practices including process re-engineering or cost transformation
  • Experience of delivering complex business and technology transformations in senior roles
  • Experience of working in Agile delivery frameworks, especially in Insurance environments including Scrum
  • Experience and ability to operate and understand Project and Programme management disciplines including production of project plans, key quality programme deliverables and working and delivering to strict time constraints
